The trade unions in Þingeyjarsýsla, in collaboration with Norðurþing and the Icelandic Confederation of Labour (ASÍ), will host an open seminar and panel discussion on International Women’s Day, Saturday 8 March. The focus will be on the contribution of women of foreign origin to Icelandic society and their position in Iceland. The seminar will take place in the Golf Pavilion at Katlavellir, Húsavík and last from 11.00 -14.00. Soup and bread will be served for lunch. The moderator and moderator of the panel discussions will be Huld Aðalbjarnardóttir, life coach.
